Ukraine

On the 24th of February 2022, Russia launched a military offensive into Ukraine, causing civilian casualties and destroying the country’s infrastructure. More than a quarter of the population has been forced to flee their homes. In the first few weeks, more than 4.3 million refugees fled Ukraine, and a second as many were internally displaced. It is the fastest growing refugee crisis since World War II.

We cannot be indifferent to the suffering of our neighbours – we immediately set out to help!

We provided humanitarian assistance for

70,000

Ukrainians who stayed in the country

21.03.2022

Over a tonne of food, including sugar, oil, salt, rice, various porridges, pates, ready meals, coffees and teas, has just left for the border. They will be supplied to two places near Nikolaev, between Kherson and Odessa, where the humanitarian crisis is worsening by the day, as well as to Lutsk, on which the first shells fell last week.

We are not slowing down. We are turning your support into very concrete help, providing exactly what is in demand in these places at this very moment.

Why are we counting on you to help us raise a million in our fundraiser? In a situation where we are able to arrange safe and secure transport in just a few hours, money allows us to act immediately.

We also pass on aid in kind, of course, but we only accept that which will actually be of use on the spot. The needs are changing, and so is our response, which is essential in dealing with the very dynamic situation in Ukraine.

Just donate a few PLN, the equivalent of one packet of rice or soup, to give a helping hand to those in need in Ukraine. They only have you and us. If it were not for the constant supply of food, civilians in the cities would not survive for long.

By supporting our fundraiser you are helping us to reach specific people with specific help.
