A birth on the Good Factory’s birthday! Such gifts bring us the greatest joy!

As of yesterday Celine is a MUM. She gave birth to her long awaited dream baby: a healthy and beautiful daughter.

“Thank you for not leaving me alone when my world crumbled once again,” Celine whispered with gratitude shortly after the delivery. It is you who made our girl’s from Burkina Faso lifelong dream come true.

Thanks to you, when Celine lost all hope of becoming a mother after another miscarriage, you gave her the opportunity to receive specialist gynaecological care: something she could never have afforded on her own. The doctor, instead of speculating like the local feldshers, examined the patient and told her that her difficulty in maintaining the pregnancy was due to her anatomical structure and was no exceptional case, and that modern medicine was perfectly capable of dealing with such problems. Every pregnancy just needs good management and regular check-ups.

Since that time (last September), all medical visits, examinations and hospital admissions have been financed by you. But that is not all. Your support meant that, until she gave birth, Celine was able to stay in the capital city of Ouagadougou, near one of the best hospitals, avoiding dangerous and tiring journeys from the north of the country.

The Good Factory in Burkina Faso is not just about hectares of land, wells and vegetables. Our project is first and foremost about people. It is for them that we are here, in one of the poorest countries in the world, where they can no longer count on anyone else. We want not so much to save these people as to live by their side. We want to stay with them for good, to get to know their needs and to help them effectively.

This is how the production of good works at the Good Factory. Celine and her baby are further proof of how your regular High Fives change people’s lives. Just 5 PLN once a week is enough to change everything in the lives of those in our care. If you want to create such stories with us as the one of Celine, give us a High Five!

Thank you for once again making it possible to bring tears of joy to someone’s eyes.

Urgent help for seniors

Let’s save Laudy and Jean from homelessness

Their entire life savings have been wiped out by the economic crisis. They haven’t been able to pay rent for nine months. If the landlord loses patience, they’ll end up on the street - with nowhere to turn. We don’t want them counting down the days until eviction!
