Escalating since October 2019, the political and economic crisis is driving Lebanon to the brink of bankruptcy. The tragic situation has been exacerbated by a gigantic explosion of chemicals stored in Beirut’s seaport. The middle class has virtually ceased to exist. Educated citizens are fleeing hyperinflation, rising unemployment, power cuts and fuel shortages.

The last gift bags for the children in Lebanon have been handed out, and we cannot help but marvel at how huge your support has been this year.

You have managed to bring hundreds of smiles to the little heroes – the kids who with incredible calm and composure are coping with the catastrophic economic crisis in Lebanon, which is turning the daily lives of children and their parents into a real struggle for survival.
