When the doctor predicts such situation before the child is born, sometimes the only solution is Cesarean section. Of course, the procedure is also performed due to many other reasons. Usually, these surgeries are planned. Of course, in emergency cases, the procedure is carried out immediately. Unfortunately, we are still dealing with situations, when women come to the hospital at the last moment – most often, kept at home by men, who want them to work in the field or being afraid of substantial costs related to labor. The hospital staff is continuously engaged in awareness-raising actions.
