Ukraine

On the 24th of February 2022, Russia launched a military offensive into Ukraine, causing civilian casualties and destroying the country’s infrastructure. More than a quarter of the population has been forced to flee their homes. In the first few weeks, more than 4.3 million refugees fled Ukraine, and a second as many were internally displaced. It is the fastest growing refugee crisis since World War II.

We cannot be indifferent to the suffering of our neighbours – we immediately set out to help!

Ukrainians who stayed in the country

14.03.2022

We are currently in the middle of another evening’s action which is being led by our new team at the border crossing in Shehyni. The team leader is Ivan. The whole team is made up of Ukrainian citizens, who are now there to continue the work that we have been doing since the first nights of the conflict. On board their bus, 40 litres of coffee, 50 litres of tea, warm blankets, sandwiches, energy bars, croissants and, above all, a smile for the victims of the war and the assurance that they are safe now. They are only a few hundred metres away from the border. They are due to reach their destination tomorrow at the latest.
Ivan and his team have already earned a mass of likes!!!
However, what we are doing at the border is not all. We are working on a project aimed at those who are already in Poland, and we are sending food, power banks and warm clothes to those who are still stuck in shelters and basements of besieged cities in eastern Ukraine. The “Help Ukraine” fundraiser is up and running! Top us up with some fuel again today!
Good does not just happen of its own accord! Right now, you can start producing it with us. We know how to reach the people who need it most. Join us!
