Héritiere is going to school!

Democratic Republic of Congo

The second largest country of Africa, full of paradoxes. On one hand, it is rich in natural resources (including cobalt, copper, coltan, crude oil, diamonds, gold); on the other hand, its inhabitants are among the poorest in the world. For decades, the DRC has been suffering from prolonged conflicts that have led to one of the most severe humanitarian crises in the world.

  • 15,6 million people – 18% of the population suffer from hunger
  • 3,4 million children under 5 years are acutely malnourished
  • 41,8% million children under 5 years are stunted
  • 63,2% of children below 5 years of age and 41% of women  15-49 years are anemic
In 2023, we have saved approximately

people from starvation
We take in at least

children a week in our nutrition center

Believe it or not, those three pictures show the same boy, Héritiere. The fight for his life was dramatic but it had a happy ending, as evidenced by his bright smile!

The youngster is now going to school! He just got his uniform and school supplies, purchased thanks to your donations. He is excited to start school (but not as much as we are!) and looking forward to meeting his new classmates and learning math. Thanks to your support, we saved his life AND restored his childhood. We are now focused on making sure he makes the most of these opportunities. His ear-to-ear grin reveals his gratitude to you for making all of this possible. Thank you!

There are no half measures at Good Factory. We’re not trying to help our patients have a better death – we want them to experience a better life. Your support makes this possible!

If you haven’t supported us yet, it is not too late. 15 PLN for a therapeutic meal purchased on GoodWorks24 can do wonders! We have dozens more patients undergoing treatment. Every day, new people turn to us for help.  It takes just a few minutes to make an impactful donation – just click on the link under this post and you can immediately start changing the world, one life at a time.

Urgent Help Needed

Save the Pharmacy for the Poorest in Togo

This amount will allow for equipping pharmacy shelves for the first half of the year. Ania and Mateusz will take care of this, and they will fly to Togo in February and fill the shelves with the most essential antibiotics, antimalarial drugs, and pain relievers. The Saoudé Pharmacy has people to save. It cannot succeed without your support.
