Rwanda is one of the smallest countries on the African continent, and the most densely populated one. There are around 463 inhabitants per 1km2 here! Due to its natural landscape, Rwanda is sometimes referred to as a land of a thousand hills, and due to its history, also a land of a thousand problems.

Finally!!! Let’s go! The High-Fivers are hitting the road! After a forced hiatus on our High Five project trips, we’re back in the air! As a reminder, just set up a standing order for PLN 5 a week and support one more of our projects on a regular basis for a chance to go with us to Africa!
With us, there are no donations too small. For us it is not just a small donation, but as much as PLN 5 a week! Last year, they brought in a total of PLN 727 805. In emergency situations, such as when a rebellion took control of an area that comprises a hospital and a nutrition centre in the Democratic Republic of Congo, they allow us to continue to running the hospital. Your fives are not acupuncture, but a solid bandage for the problems of our charges. A high-five given regularly can work wonders. In March, Marta Błeszyńska and Marcin Biegun will see this for themselves. They will visit an orphanage in Zambia and a hospice project in Rwanda.
The amount you raise allows us, for example, to fund 48,520 therapeutic meals for children suffering from hunger disease or 14,556 life-saving blood transfusions in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It’s also 22 054 people cured of malaria. That’s the equivalent of 121,300 loaves of bread for the neediest victims of the war in Ukraine.
By setting up a standing order for PLN 5 a week, you can be sure of two things:
1. you will not notice this expense at all
2. you will save more than one life with it.
