Employ a gardener at Home Village

It is no longer just a kitchen and meals for the most vulnerable. On the Greek island of Lesbos, we have funded a vegetable garden that gives work to residents of Europe’s largest refugee camp. Eight refugees are currently working on five hectares of land. Organic crops allow us to continue feeding diabetics, the sick and pregnant women.

We are developing this project together with Katerina and Nikos. We think about helping in a very similar way. Today you are also invited to this extraordinary place. The cost of maintaining one worker in the garden is €1000 per month. So we are looking for 52 people to reach out and help one resident of the refugee camp to fulfil their dream of working, becoming independent and giving their families a sense of security.

What % of my donation will go towards aid?

Your entire donation, minus a small payment processing fee (PayU/PayPal), will be used for aid and does not serve as a source of income for the Good Factory Foundation. If you’d like to support the Foundation’s statutory goals, click here.
