Support Package for a Rohingya Woman

Rohingya women of all ages – from young girls to mothers and grandmothers – have fled brutal persecution in Myanmar, losing their homes, loved ones, and any sense of safety. But they all have one thing in common: the need for help with everyday essentials that we often take for granted, but for them, are a luxury. Basic hygiene items are the very least we can provide to restore a small sense of normalcy.

Each package includes: Hygiene products, soap for washing clothes and bathing, a toothbrush and toothpaste, underwear, a mosquito net to protect against malaria, an umbrella, disinfectants, and a practical carry bag. It’s a chance to stay healthy and hold on to a basic sense of comfort.

Why is this support so important? Lack of access to hygiene products is not just uncomfortable – it’s a threat to health and a source of social exclusion. Without the ability to stay clean, many women face isolation, making their situation even more difficult. The mosquito net protects the entire family from malaria – a deadly disease in this part of the world. Soaps and disinfectants guard against bacteria and viruses that spread rapidly in camp conditions. Every item in the package is a step toward better health, dignity, and a return to some sense of normalcy in an already challenging environment.

Small gestures can make a big difference: One full package costs €27. That’s just three people with kind hearts coming together to help one woman feel seen and cared for. By giving €9, together with two other donors, you can offer one woman peace of mind, better health, and the comfort of knowing someone cares about her. We’re hoping that each of the 13 women in our project will find her trio of angels.

What % of my donation will go towards aid?

Your entire donation, minus a small payment processing fee (PayU/PayPal), will be used for aid and does not serve as a source of income for the Good Factory Foundation. If you’d like to support the Foundation’s statutory goals, click here.
